Gordon Hodge, Managing Member
Gordon Hodge is a Founding Member of El Molino Media LLC, a company formed in 2009 to invest in or acquire certain out-of-
favor media assets. For the past 17 years Gordon has been an investment banker and research analyst covering the media,
entertainment and Internet sectors with Montgomery Securities (1992-1999) and subsequently with Thomas Weisel Partners
(1999-2009), where he was a Founding Partner. In March 2010 he joined the Board of RealD Inc., a leading global licensor of
stereoscopic, or 3D, technologies.
Over the course of his career, Gordon identified and evangelized on Wall Street several notable growth trends in media and
entertainment including broadcast consolidation, Hispanic-targeted media, the post-bubble re-emergence of Internet
advertising, digital 3D cinema and video-on-demand, all of which were the subject of numerous reports and white papers
authored by Mr. Hodge and his team.
Gordon received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Washington in 1986 and an MBA from Stanford University’s
Graduate School of Business in 1992.
